nodejs store rapidly changing realtime data from sensor, say light sensor, into mongo

The realtime data is generated in a client camera or some other sensors, and presented as a rapidly changing variable in the public javascript file, I have no idea how to store them into mongo efficiently.Bundling many changes into a transmission? Could anybody give me some ideas?
