When doing some research on market share for different browsers i come up with almost completely different results on different sites.. To take three examples, i checked netmarketshare (http://ift.tt/zVcmeb) which seems legit but seems way of in what one would believe to be the correct market share for each browser, having internet explorer at almost 60% while the site statcounter (http://ift.tt/mxcPL7) has chrome far up in its 50% and IE at almost 21% and then we have clicky (http://ift.tt/17sBFGv) which shows about the same as statcounter.
Is there any known market share browser site one can trust ? I guess its kind of obvious that chrome is far above IE and that statcounter seems to have the more accurate readings but how can a site like netmarketshare be so off? I was trying to check how large market share IE 6,7 and 8 had to see if i was going to use jquery 1 or 2.
