What Javascript library or framework may be used to create the scrolling effects/animations found on Tumblr's home page?

I'm new to JavaScript (but not to programming) and would like to set up my home page to have a similar scrolling effect/animation as Tumblr's home page. I'm not sure what that's called and would like to know which JavaScript libraries or frameworks support this. I know there's probably more than one solution to this. Which do you recommend? Don't be scared to recommend something too basic or something difficult, I want to know all my options. I think one of them is scrollReveal.js...? Thanks!
