Session Keepalive

I have a really odd bug that I hope someone can assist me with. My json response for my session keepalive is writing this to my browser Session keepalive. with this ping.txt?_=1853534282 appended to my url. It does not throw an exception or offer any other clues. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?
