Jquery added nested list does not have styling

I seem to have run into an odd problem in which some of my styling does not load for a nested list added through jquery.

The item in the viewer called "Desired Outcome" is what I am trying to achieve, but the other items will only style the h3 and span tags and nothing inside the nested list.

Please give it a look and see if you notice anything I did wrong. It would be greatly appreciated.
