Is it possible to access the HTTP headers of a file linked as the source of a video tag without passing that data through my own server, using Media Source Extensions or initiating another request to the server?

This is not directly possible with Javascript to the best of my knowledge but I wanted to check that I wasn't overlooking another way of doing this.
