I am desperate, stting 10 hours aqnd get no json mysql fetch to javascript

I am a big fan of this community here.

The people was many times helpful for me without knowing it.

But now I stuck completly. I am testing since 10 hours and get no result.

I want to read from a mysql table "ar4icles" record by record and forward it to javascript. I got no success.

I prefer ajax because I want to read it in a html form. This form have buttons for previous and next row/record.

I dont know what to do anymore. I need help.

the database is correct connected, the tables are ok.

The table articles have the fields aid (auto increment) item itemno condition price

I found a way to dont leave the form and updating always values, but only one time, and only if the php code is in the same file.

I need of course a external php-file to repeat the calls to this file.

The index is on aid and will never change.

It is the first time in my life that I am total helpless!
