Scrapping wordpress post by getting rss

I want to develop a scrapper for wordpress, but how can I ensure the success rate is high? coz some blog example.com/feed/ doesn't return their rss. If I use scrapping using xpath, then it will be difficult too because not every blog has the same DOM structure.
